in other news
i just spent the last two and half weeks working on two pepakura aka papercraft odst helmets!!!
the first was just a practice run to test out a new hot glue gun and how to make nice folds
that one took 7 days then i left it unfinished because of its obvious flaws
i immediatly started my third helmet which took only 8 days when my first took a whole month to make
and the quality on this one is way better then the fist two
i cant believe how absorbing papercraft can be i almost quit playing video games so i could work on the
helmets m

well i'm back home in alaska having gone and returned from sakura con and gotten my witts about me i got the fancy idea
that i should draw all the pokemon cosplays that i took pictures at sakura con.....well i'm not backing down but i decided to make it easy
by drawing as many as i can in chibi form
or really close to chibis as i can......"i'm still not that good at drawing yet". if anyone from sakura con 2012 wants a copy of the actual photo i took
go right ahead and leave a message and i do the best i can, i'll try to get a list of all the different costumes i took pictures of and post it in this journal
within the next few days....

Are you going to Senshi-Con this year? I was suprised to find a fellow Alaskan that goes to conventions AND does pepakura.... My friend and I are each doing a pepakura suit, and it'd be sweet if others were doing a pep suit as well.
Happy birthday dude! How often do you come down to the other states? Me and Spencer and my other friend were gonna hang out this summer. You should join us! We're all gonna dress like Team Rocket and run around town XD

sorry for not replying sooner im starting to take on more responsiblities
at my familiy's restaurant.
i usually dont travel outside of alaska unless im going to conventions
which i already started saving for a month ago, next year i plan on hitting as many as possible.
also i want to say thanks again for saying happy birthday, after i got off work i picked up my pencil for the first time in a month or two and drew a few things.
